Content Guidelines & Terms of Use
Effective 2026-06-26. By using Halden you agree to these rules.
Halden lets people post messages and documents that other members of their workspace can see ("user generated content"). To keep Halden safe and compliant, the following content is not allowed.
Prohibited content
- Harassment, bullying or threats toward any person or group.
- Hate speech or content that promotes discrimination or violence against people based on who they are.
- Sexual or adult content, and any sexual content involving minors (which is absolutely forbidden and will be reported to authorities).
- Graphic violence or content that promotes or instructs self-harm or harm to others.
- Illegal activity, including the sale of weapons, drugs, or instructions to make weapons.
- Spam, scams, phishing, or intentionally misleading content.
- Sharing other people's private personal information without their consent ("doxxing").
- Impersonation, or uploading malware or malicious code.
- Infringing someone else's intellectual property.
Reporting content
Every message and document has a Report action. Use it to flag content for review; you can choose a reason and add details. Reports are sent to your workspace admins and to Halden for review.
Enforcement
- Workspace admins and Halden may review reported content and remove or disable anything that violates these guidelines or applicable platform requirements.
- We will remove or disable content when required by law or when requested by Microsoft.
- Repeat or severe violations may result in removal from a workspace or termination of access.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the content you post and must have the right to share it. The service is provided "as is" without warranties to the extent permitted by law.
